Alison Westlake is the owner of of Coriander Girl, which opened in 2009.
Prior to opening Coriander Girl, Alison was an actress living in Toronto. Her days were spent sipping lattes and learning lines. However, the high-pressure auditions were too anxious of a process for her that she decided to pursue one of her other interests. Alison began as a gardener for a landscape company between acting gigs, which is where her true passion for floral arranging began.
Throughout the year, Alison hosts a number of workshops where budding floral designers can sign up to learn how to create beautiful hand-tied bouquets, centerpieces, flower crowns and more.
